John Alan Doody, age 67, passed away at 4.30am on Saturday 7th June 2008 at the RAEI due to a heart attack. He had several heart attacks in the past 2 years but he always fought back! He had a great sense of humor and was always up for a laugh. He had a stroke in the 1992 which left him with no use of the left side of his body, but he coped so well. He was a beloved husband to Mary and Dad to Jackie and Andrea, also he was a Grandad to Becky and Alex.
His Funeral was held at St Helens Crematorium on 13th June 2008. He had flowers in the shape of a Motorbike as he loved his bikes when he was younger. The service was wonderful and nobody left with sad memories due to his choice of song, Burning Ring of Fire. Just showed off his sense of humour :D!! He will Never be Forgotten and will always have a place in our hearts!!
